This Adelaide Fringe, local dancer and certified Qoya teacher, Erin Fowler will facilitate two Qoya workshops.
Each Qoya class has a theme and for the two Fringe workshops the themes will be:
FEB 17: "Sisterhood"
MAR 3: "Slow Down to Feel More"
February 17th & Mar 3rd // 2:00 - 3:30pm
Please aim to arrive 10-15 mins early so you can settle into the space.

QOYA is a movement practice for women, based on the idea that through movement, we remember. We remember, as women, that our essence is wise, wild and free.
Wise, wild and free also draws reference to the movement forms that we practice. Wise calling on the wisdom of yoga, wild the creative expression in dance and free invites us to expand our capacity for pleasure in the body.
In Qoya, we focus on how it feels, not how it looks. There is no way to do it "right"-- the only way you know is that it feels good. You don't need any movement or dance experience to participate.
Each Qoya class has a theme and for this workshop we will be focusing on the feeling of freedom and how that feels in the body.
If you're looking for something a little different and would like to express your own creativity during Mad March, then perhaps this is for you!
After Qoya we will gather for tea and delicious vegan snacks.
